Ahhhhhhhh

Today is the day that I am officially done with my undergraduate college career. Now, I can go wherever I want, build my life, color outside the lines, and create an existance that I have always wanted!!

I always say that one should live in the moment, so this may seem redundant, but now the doors are opened up to me! I have no obligations, no plans, no ties to any one place on this earth. Now, now I can take leaps! I can move next to the ocean or travel for a while or stay here and save money while I work on my poetry and sit in the Tea House. I can spend my nights reading for pleasure and my morinings making love…also for pleasure! I can volunteer when I want, not for credit. I can RELAX!!! I can BREATHE!!!! no more grades or busy work or deadlines. No more redundant classes and narrow minded professors.

I have to admit that I will miss the research and the crafting of papers into an artistic showcase and argument, I loved doing that. I loved all my research papers, big projects, internships, and volunteering. I loved three of my professors dearly, Haddock, Kent, and Aberle. I loved my summer jobs and my study abroad trip, I loved the Tilt and all my mentors and friends there. I loved the parties and friendships and new experiences. Oh college, thanks for it all!!!!!

I came into college as a Freshman with specific goals:

One- to never again be the shy girl that nobody knows

Two- to gain all the experience I possibly could

Three- to study abroad

Now I am going into the world with some solid goals:

One- to never let anything compromise my mission of peace

Two- to walk in love

Three - to live abroad

Four- to live next to the ocean

Five- to create an existance that I can thrive in- for instance the room that I live in, the people I surround myself with, and my habits. I want to write, be outside, meditate and do yoga

Six- to work with kids who desperately need love

“The happiest people are those who think the most interesting thoughts. Those who decide to use leisure as a means of mental development, who love good music, good books, good pictures, good company, good conversation, are the happiest people in the world. And they are not only happy in themselves, they are the cause of happiness in others.” —William Phelps  (via chamberstyle)
