Yesterday I went running along the river. As the sun set, I sat in the cool sand by the saphire twilight waters just soaking in the peace. I like to think that as I sit by the river, it flows right through my soul- taking with it the filthy residue that life’s struggles leave behind. Then, I am left clean and silvery- open and ready for new things to rush through me, singing as they go.
